Hello, I'm Maya and I'm an industrial designer based in Austin, TX. Before my recent move TX I have worked in New York City, San Francisco and Tel Aviv.
I have brought products from concept to market multiple times, including technology products, home goods and medical devices. I enjoy solving hard problems and I'm always excited to tackle a new challenge. I have had the pleasure of working with fortune 500 companies as well as lean startups. Clients include AT&T, LG, Honeywell, Skycatch, Revlon, Blendid, Braun, Buzz, VAVA, Caeserstone, Autodesk, OXO, Vicks.
I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, where I grew up breaking and making things. After school I traveled a lot, spending time in New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, where I got the bug for travelling and exploring new cultures. I got my MFA in industrial design at California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco.
I am passionate about design and its potential to create change. In each object I create, my goal is to make something that people love using, while pushing the limits of design and technology. Mixing an analytical and intuitive approach drives my process in each project I work on.
