This fun project originated in a call from the R&D authority of the Israeli Ministry of Defense to innovate in the field of smart clothing. Team project with Yehudit Passov-Neimann, in collaboration with Bezalel Labs.
After widely researching, we found a need to analytically track the rehabilitation progress of injured people in-situ. We developed a device that logs data from pressure and bending sensors, obtaining indicative information about the carrier’s posture. We built three prototypes and successfully tested the last one against a camera based posture tracking technique at Hadassa hospital’s walking lab.
